Obituary
Funeral services for Martha Eugene Carpenter, 83, of Segno, Texas, will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sunflower Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Mitchell Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Carpenter was born June 26, 1934 in Bryan, Texas to parents, James M. Zimmerman and Martha Jane (Mize) Zimmerman, and passed away September 2, 2017 in Shenandoah, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Lee; sister, Lelah; and grandson, Phillip.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Carpenter of Segno, Texas; daughter, Bekie Maxey and Steve, of Hemphill, Texas daughter, Shebie Moseley of Marianna, Florida; daughter, Shellie LeBlanc and Charlie of Houston, Texas; daughter, Angie Ankrom and Russel of Huffman, Texas; grandchildren, Charity, Gene, Tamra, Tammy, Buddy, Bobby, Michelle, Steven, Jonah, Chad, Ben, Abrie, Emaree, and Ronan; 30 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nephews, extended family and friends.
