Funeral services for Martha Elizabeth Guthrie, 76, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Cochran Funeral Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Interment will follow at the Morgan Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Martha Elizabeth Guthrie was born on January 15, 1941 in Houston, Texas and passed away on December 22, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rawls and Jewel (Martin) Hunt; husband, Garland George Guthrie; grandson, Cesar Acosta, Jr.; brothers, Rawls Treat Hunt and Joe Hunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Morgan of Coldspring, Texas; son, Ben Taylor of Coldspring, Texas; daughter, Molly Taylor of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, Brittany Morgan, Megan Taylor, Zachary Patterson, Camden Henson, Kaleb Henson, Kiley Acosta; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Avery; brothers, Thomas Hunt of Trinity, Texas, Clay Hunt of Splendora, Texas and Richard Hunt of Farmville, Virginia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
