Funeral services for Martin "Buddy" Shepherd, 82, of Coldspring, Texas will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Dan Darby officiating. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will take place Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas.

Buddy was born August 12, 1942 in Cooper, Texas and passed away December 5, 2024 in Coldspring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie N. Shepherd and Irene (Hart) Shepherd; brother, Harvey Shepherd; and sisters-in-law, Sylvia Roeseler, Linda Winkleman, and Donna Downing.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Betty Shepherd; nephew, Bruce Shepherd; nieces, Julie Smith and husband Kenn and Sabrina Buniva and husband Pete; cousins, Morris Bales and Sue Ann Locke; and nieces in love, Misty Myers, Leigh Ann Tyroch, and Erin Chumley; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
