A celebration of life for Marvin Lynn Humphreys, Jr., 53, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. John Taylor officiating.

Marvin was born November 14, 1972 in Houston, Texas to parents Marvin Lynn Humphreys, Sr. and Martha (Scurry) Humphreys and passed away on March 6, 2026, in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, April Denise Humphreys; grandparents, Edward and Pearl Scurry, Jack and Martha Oliver and A.B. Humphreys.

Marvin is survived by his wife Jean (Carrasco) Humphreys of Onalaska; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer Humphreys Jacobs and James; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher Brian Humphreys and Shaney; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends; his grandchildren, Emma, Lyndon, Greyson and Parker; nieces and nephews, April Humphreys, Christopher Humphreys, Jr., Elizabeth Humphreys, Cory Jacobs and Ashlyn Jacobs.
