Funeral Service for Mary Ella Allen, age 80 of Rye, Texas, will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Harold Isaacs will conduct the services. Interment will follow the chapel service at Holly Grove Cemetery in Polk County, Texas. Pallbearers are: James Allen, Jerry Allen, Dwayne Richards, Mike Bowers, Luke Allen, Rick Godfrey, Ben Ellison and Charles Morrow.

Mary Ella Allen was born on March 2, 1932 in Lucedale, Mississippi, to parents Harvard and Mamie Lou Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, James Allen. Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary Allen of Montgomery, TX; son-in-law, Charles Morrow of Montgomery, TX; daughter, Mamie Henson of Rye, TX; son-in-law, Rich Godfrey of Rye, TX; sons, James Allen and Jerry Allen of Rye, TX; and daughter-in-law, Denise Allen of Rye, TX; grandchildren, Tracy & Dwayne Richards, Mike Bowers, & Jennifer Bowers, Ben Ellison and Luke Allen; great grandchildren, Samatha McDonald, Shelby Lynn McDonald, Khole Lowe; sister, Joyce, Chumley; and brother, Joshua Duncan.

Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, beginning at 5:00 PM.
