Funeral services for Mary Aillene (Bird) Harvey, age 94 of Livingston, Texas will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas. Bro. Robert Smith will conduct the services. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Mary was born in Caldwell, Texas on October 15, 1917 to parents George Lee Bird and Mary Hellon (Fuqua) Bird. She married Dawson Harvey on July 8, 1935, in Pelly, Texas.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Bird; husband, Dawson Harvey; daughter, Wanda Rae Harvey; daughter, Nedra Ann (Harvey) Duke; son, Larry Lee Harvey; son, Lemuel Dawson Harvey; daughter-in-law, Elaine Harvey; and five grandchildren.

She is survived by her son and daughter-n-law, Rayford and Sandra Harvey of Texas City, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Naurice and Sandra Harvey of Arkansas; son, Kenneth Harvey of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and James Earl Platt of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Everlou and Steve Marsh of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Jerry Brandon of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Billy Galloway of Livingston, Texas; 28 grandchildren; 76 great grandchildren; 15 great, great grandchildren; special friends, Jim and Velma Key of Livingston, Texas; special friends, Ray and Mary Ward of Louisiana; and special friends, Henry and Sheeda McPherson of Louisiana; and numerous other relatives and friends.
