Funeral services for Mary Helen Castillo Salazar, 56, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 18, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Pastor David Goddard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home.

Mary was born on November 6, 1957 in Galveston, Texas to mother, Virginia Flores and passed away on April 15, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Toribio and Felicitas (Mendoza) Castillo; and sisters, Emily Castillo and Margaret Castillo.

She is survived by her husband, David Salazar Sr. of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Angela Castillo of Livingston, Texas and RoseAnn Murphy of Livingston, Texas; sons, David Lee Salazar of Livingston, Texas, David Salazar Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, and Steven Salazar of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Alexis Murphy, Dylan Murphy, McKenzie Murphy, Amerie Gomez, Anisia Salazar, and Maritza Salazar; sister and brother-in-law, Mariane and Marcus Sosa of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Sandra Flores of Houston, Texas; sister, Elena Sanchez of Houston, Texas; sister, Tina Guevara of Houston, Texas; brother, Louis Flores of Houston, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Freddie Flores, Frank Guevara, Isaac Flores, David Lee Salazar, Steven Salazar, and Daniel Trevino.
