Obituary
Funeral services for Mary Ozell Clark, 89, of Onalaska, will be held Monday, January 12, 2009 at 2:00pm Graveside at New Prospect Cemetery in Timpson, Texas.
She was born September 3, 1919 in Shelbyville, Texas the daughter of John & Dewey Shofner Metcalf and passed away in Houston, Texas.
She graduated frorm Shelbyville High School. Mary and Joe were married April 8, 1939, and two children were born to this union. The moved to Houstonin 1950. Mary attended Houston Business College. She graduated nursing school and worked in Houston hospitals for 20 years.
They moved to Onalaska in 1983. She was a member of Onalaska First Baptist Church. She was also a member of The Order Of Eastern Star Chapter #1139 in Livingston, Texas
She is survived by Bill Clark, son of Houston, Linda Clark Moulton and Husband Rick , daughter & son in law of Henderson, Nevada, she is also survived by her grandchildren Stephanie Kay Burke, Kristen Nix and husband Lee, and Lauren Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arris Harvey Clark, and brothers, Albert Metcalf and Alvin Metcalf.
