Mary Elizabeth Dehtan (Beth), age 76, of Livingston, Texas, and wife of Harry L. Dehtan, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Beth was born on November 27, 1947, in Portales, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Kermit and Gretchen Rolston. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, J.D. Rolston.
Beth graduated from Portales High School and was the co-owner of Penwaugh Resort and Marina. Before moving to Livingston, Texas, she served as an accountant and banker throughout her career. She was a beacon of love, with a welcoming heart to everyone who knew her.
In addition to her husband, Beth is survived by her children, Cody Q. Dehtan of Houston, Texas, and Jes DeShields (and son-in-law Brian) of Taylors, South Carolina. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Kylie Dehtan and Madeleine Williams, and one great-grandchild, Wrynlee, on the way.
The family would like to express immense gratitude to Sharon and Joe McAdams of Lufkin, Texas, who cared for Beth during her final few years.
