Memorial services for Mary Alice Gates Simons, 54, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. David Franklin officiating.
Mrs. Simons was born on January 13, 1962 in McKinney, Texas to parents, Lloyd Edward Gates and Mary Alice (Adams) Gates and passed away on April 17, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Leeland Gates; and husband and father of her children, Mark Simons.
She is survived by her daughters, Clarissa Randall and husband, Isaac of Livingston, Texas, and Tiffany Gates of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Laney Randall, Raylan Randall, Lloyd Johnson and Alice Davis; sister, Donna Rabel and husband, Darrell of Spring, Texas; brother, Ricky Putman of Conroe, Texas; sister, Beverly Martin and husband, Junior of Willis, Texas; brothers, Woody Gates and wife, Kim of Montgomery, Texas, William Gates and wife, Linda of Lufkin, Texas, Ricky Gates of Livingston, Texas, Michael Gates and wife, Wanda of Livingston, Texas, Marty Gates and wife, Sandy of Livingston, Texas, Jerry Gates and wife, Angela of Livingston, Texas, and Troy Gates and wife, Linda of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Myra Robinson and husband, Charlie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Valetta Leath and husband, David of Bloomfield, New Mexico; non-blood sisters, Wanda Vaco and Missy Redd; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
