Mary Esther Gonzalez-Gentz, 81, of Onalaska, Texas, was born February 2, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas and passed away July 29, 2023 in Corrigan, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Lopez and Jovita (Aquirie) Lopez; and son, Gerardo Gonzalez.

Mary worked as Registered Nurse for 44 years, at the Audie Murphy V.A. Hospital in San Antonio and the V.A. Hospital in Levenworth, Kansas.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Michael Gentz of Onalaska, Texas; son, Gilberto Gonzalez of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Bertha Lawson of Wellsville, Kansas; brother, Albert Lopez of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Megan Gonzalez of Raymore Missouri, and Esteffan Gonzalez and Ricardo Gonzalez both of Lenexa, Kansas; and great grandchild, Ashford Boogher of Raymore, Missouri.
