Funeral services for Mary Lou McDowell age 82 of Onalaska, Texas will be held Saturday April 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Livingston First Church Of The Nazarene with Rev. Roger Gragg officiating and interment to follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers will be James Cope, Jason Cope, Stoney McDowell, Eric Skaggs, Jarrod McDowell and Adam McDowell.

She was born July 1, 1928 in Liberty Eylau, Texas the daughter of Charles Clever Crowson and Edith Griggson Crowson and passed away April 27, 2011 in Onalaska, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Raymond McDowell, Jr., and her sister Charlene Littleton.

She is survived by Marilyn Skaggs and husband Mike, daughter and son in law of Onalaska, Texas, Sharon Stock and husband John, daughter and son in law of Onalaska, Albert McDowell, son of New Caney, Texas, Charles C. Crowson, brother of Texarkana, Arkansas, grandchildren; James Cope, Jason Cope, Rhiannon McDowell, Stoney McDowell, Ginny Gibson, Eric Skaggs, Emily Skaggs, Jarrod McDowell, Katy McDowell and Adam McDowell, great grandchildren; Scarlett Cope, Jenna Gibson, Jayden Cope and Jake Gibson.
