Mary Jo Mize, 76, of Shepherd, Texas, was born August 4, 1947 in Cleveland, Texas and passed away January 20, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Clinton Smith and Lorenza (Tenorio) Smith; husband, Leroy Mize; and sister, Dora Morgan.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Linda Majors of Cleveland, Texas, Virginia Whitehead of Cleveland, Texas, Dorothy Grogan and husband Tommy of Jasper, Texas, and Kathy Hash and husband Stanley of Van Alstyne, Texas; and brothers, George Smith of Blanchard, Texas and Clinton Smith and wife Nona of Cleveland, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
