Mary Katherine Shelton, 72, of Corrigan, Texas was born July 20, 1950 in DeRidder, Louisiana and passed away in Corrigan, February 19, 2023. She is preceded by her parents, Bryon Edward Shelton, Jr. and Charlotte Virginia (Hawkins) Shelton.

Mary is survived by her sister, Ginny Fender of Tyler, Texas; brother, Ned Shelton of Corrigan, Texas; sister, Becky Geeslin and husband Wayne of Richwood, Texas; nephews, Robert Fender and wife Julie, Kevin Fender and wife Leslie, and Patrick Fender and wife Celia, all of Austin, Texas; niece, Elizabeth Greeslin and spouse Richard Blanco of Houston, Texas; great nephews, Luke Fender, Jadon Fender, Collin Fender, Tom Fender, and Eric Venegas; great nieces, Ashley Himes, Starla Fender, and Adelina Ceniceros; along with numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services for Mary will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25th at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics.
