Funeral services for Mary Ann Smith, 81, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Pastor Mike Waters and Thomas Michael Browning officiating. Interment will follow in the Carmona Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 22, 2020, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Smith was born July 18, 1939 in Houston, Texas, to parents Tahlmadge Browning and Orneida (McMillian) Browning, and passed away November 17, 2020 in Lufkin, Texas.  She was an active member and pioneer of the Corrigan Christian Resource Center for 19 years and president of the First United Methodist Church UMW. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Billy Wayne Browning, Paul Browning, and Thomas Browning.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ned Smith of Corrigan, Texas; daughter, Tammie Smith of Corrigan, Texas; son, Ned A. Smith of Nacogdoches, Texas; and grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Trevor Smith, Madison Smith, Chase Smith and Brianna Smith; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
