Graveside services for Mary Lucille Stringer, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Tim Thompson officiating.  Visitation will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 from  5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mary was born August 29, 1939 in Daisetta, Texas to parents Sidney Jesse Reeves and Mary Ethel (Stifflemire) Reeves and passed away January 8, 2026, in Montgomery, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sammy Stringer; and son, Scott Stringer.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Luan Gatlin and Richard; son and daughter-in-law, Taylor "Spook" Stringer and Lorie; grandchildren, Corbin and Dannee, Leila, Courtney and Korey, Colby and Emily, Ashtyn and Kade, Derrin and Katilyn, Tyler and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Braylenn, Tatum, Kaden, Riley, Cord, Codee, Kenli, Callie, Emery, Stetson, and Andie; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers "Spook" Stringer, Bobby Stephens, Corbin Gatlin and Leila Gatlin.
