Obituary
Graveside services for Mary Jo Williamson, 87, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Mike Meadows officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Williamson was born April 16, 1927 in Houston, Texas to parents, Joseph Charles Richardson and Flossie B. (Marshall) Richardson. She returned to her heavenly home March 9, 2015 after battling a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggles and ultimately gave her peace. During her life, she was a member of Central Baptist Church for many years and also a charter member of the Livingston Art League. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Bob" Williamson; daughter, Mary Lynn Sitton; brother, Kenneth Richardson; and son-in-law, Alan Reese.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Reese of Kilgore, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Aletha and Daryl Gandy of Kilgore, Texas; sister-in-law, Vonceil Richardson of Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Johnny Lynn Sitton, Susan Lake, Angela Custer, Lisa Thurston, and Stacey Shepherd; 9 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
