Matthew Edwin Pixley, 32, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on September 21, 2025. He was born on April 8, 1993, and from the moment of his birth brought laughter, love, and joy to everyone around him.

Matthew is survived by his devoted wife and the love of his life, Timbre Pixley, and their two precious daughters, Whitley and Kinsley, who were his greatest joy. He is also survived by his parents, Kathy and James Edwin; brother, Michael and wife Hannah; sister, Lauren; grandparents, James and Yvonne Pixley, and Earl and Velma Gibson; along with many cherished family members and friends.

Those who loved him deeply include his aunt, Malinda Pixley and cousin, Chase; in-laws, Misty and Ernie "Bubbie" Richardson; brothers-in-law, Sidney Cox Jr. and wife Chelsea, Remington Richardson and wife Paige, Colton Richardson and Brianna; aunt, Natalie and husband Lonnie; cousins, Josh Freeman and Cannon Harkness; uncles, Derrick Richardson and Heath Richardson and wife Casey; uncle, Jimmy Griffin and wife Jana; grandparents-in-law, Carol and Jim Griffin and Debbie and Reggie Richardson; nephews, Ryder and Russ Pixley, Kade Clifton, and Waylon Richardson; and nieces, Lauren and Kate Cox.

Matthew was happiest outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing—whether it was on the lake or at the beach. He enjoyed spending time outside with family and friends and was always the first to lend a hand when something needed to be done. If hay needed baling or something needed fixing, he was there. Though he was naturally quiet and reserved, Matthew was quick with a joke and somehow always ended up being the life of the party. More than anything, he loved his family and treasured every moment with them.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas, officiated by Brother Gary Lawrence. Graveside services will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Pixley, Sidney Cox, Remington Richardson, Colton Richardson, Chase White, and Jimmy Duke. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Duff and Josh Dillon.

While our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing Matthew is in Heaven, made whole, and celebrating in the presence of Jesus. His legacy will live on in the love he poured into his family, the laughter he shared, and the countless lives he touched.
