Services for Maurice Calcote, 89, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sanctuary of Hope Church in Livingston, Texas and will be officiated by Pastor Charles Harris. Interment follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Maurice was born April 4, 1934 in Nacogdoches, Texas and passed away October 11, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ell Hannon Norton and Nadine (Johnson) Norton; husband, Gilbert Calcote; daughter, Renee Cronin; brother, David Norton; sister Naomi Larsen, and Baby Sister Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Darrel Calcote and wife Becca of Magnolia, Texas; daughter, Kathy Moody of Livingston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Calcote of Kingwood, Texas; granddaughter, Amanda Riggs and husband Chris of Humble, Texas; grandsons, Daniel Calcote and wife Celeste of Kingwood, Texas, Chris Sanders of Livingston, Texas, Bryan Roark and wife Andrea of Bryan/College Station, Texas; and Corey Moody and wife Jordan of Pensacola Florida; great grandchildren, Damon Calcote, Tyler Calcote, Garrett Calcote, Matthew Mosher, Joshua Mosher, Gabriel Mosher, Tyler Sanders, Katlyn Sanders, Zachary Sanders, Christopher Sanders, Rylee Moody and Anakin Moody; sister, Joyce Smith of Splendora; and brothers, Gary Norton of Patton Village, Texas and Delton Norton of Splendora, Texas; along with numerous other, relatives and friends.
