Obituary
Funeral services for Maurice Petersen, 78, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Mike Meadows and Bro. Bryan Dickens officiating. Interment will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the Greenvine Cemetery in Burton, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the service begins in the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Petersen was born May 13, 1936 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to parents, Stanley Petersen and Julia (Johnson) Petersen, and passed away December 28, 2014 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanley Petersen and Howard Petersen; wife, Betty Jo Petersen; brothers-in-law, Kelly Clark and Paul Larsen.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Petersen of Livingston, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Gary Morgan of Friendswood, Texas, Sharon and Jack Smith of Dickinson, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Carol Imwalle of Sugarland, Texas, Dennis and Evy Imwalle of Brookshire, Texas; sisters, Shirley Clark of Grapevine, Texas, Joyce Larsen of Forest City, Iowa; grandchildren, Devon Smith, Sarah Bennett, Ashley Morgan, Brittany Morgan, Chris and Jo'Ann Imwalle, Amanda Imwalle, David Imwalle and wife, Shea, Daniel Imwalle and Paige, Dennse and Jessie Wallace; great-grandchildren, Autumn Bennett, Avery Imwalle, Austin Imwalle, Abbey Imwalle; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
