Born July 9, 1923, Maxine E. McCormick died peacefully on February 13, 2023, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mae Young; brother, J.W. Young; her daughter Charlotte Kay White; and granddaughter Natalie Wade.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda and husband Alvin Holley of Livingston; daughter Bobbie Tangedahl of Red Rock, Texas; and son; J. W. McCormick of Red Rock, Texas.

She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service and interment will be held at a later date in Jacksonville, Texas at the old city cemetery.
