Obituary
Services for Maysel Erlene Stubbs, 87, of Cleveland, Texas, formerly of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, also at Cochran Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stubbs was born on August 22, 1926 in Ladelle, Arkansas and passed away on May 19, 2014 in Cleveland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ancy and Minnie (Vining) Burch; husband, Elbert Louis Stubbs, whom she married on July 3, 1946; brothers, Billie Burch and Freeman Burch; and sisters, Mary Graham, Winnie Varnell, and Della Thomas.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Glen Stubbs and Susan of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Connie E. Schiller and David of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Elbert Ray Stubbs and Kim of Corrigan, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Donna Stern and Steve, Melanie Schiller, Adam Schiller, Courtney Wilson and Daniel, and Ashley Stubbs; great-grandchildren, Mira Stern, Sophia Stern, Cameron Stern, Seth Stern, Chloe Wilson, Reed Wilson, and Jace Stubbs; sisters, Ancy Mae McKiever and Clennie Clampit; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
