Funeral services for Mayselle L. Baxter, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Wayne Bickley officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in the Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Baxter was born on February 4, 1929 in Cabot, Arkansas to parents, James Mitchell Moran and Annie Matilda (Driskel) Moran, and passed away on April 18, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She was a homemaker all her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James L. Baxter; daughters, Carolyn Rawls and Jennifer Sibley; son, Herman P. Sibley; sister, Marie Weiland; brothers, Oneal Moran, W.J. "Bill" Moran, Novis C. Moran, Argle Moran, and Lloyd Moran.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Annette Harrison of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Rita Sills of Pasadena, Texas; grandchildren, Steven, Stephanie and husband John, Stacie, Shannon, Choyss and wife Aimee, Jessica and husband Bobby; great grandchildren, Brandi, Andrew, Brayden, Cayss, Riyan Rae, Stephanie, Dylan, Jace, Kaylee, Joshua, and Emma; great-great grandchild, Kilea; sister, Joyce F. Warner of Pasadena, Texas; brother, Leroy Moran of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
