Mrs. Melba Maureen Reid Evans, 84, of Tomball, Texas was born March 5, 1933, in Knox City, Texas to parents, O.D. Reid and Mary Lavina McMahan, and passed away November 7, 2017, in Tomball, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, B.T. Evans; twin sister, Nelda Lashley; and brothers, Orbie Reid and Jim Reid.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Evans Besier of Tomball, Texas; brother, Rick Reid of Knox City, Texas; granddaughter, Jamie Besier Busch-Grieco and Jordan of Tomball, Texas; grandsons, Jeremy Besier, Justin Besier, and Jonathan Besier and Courtney, all of Tomball, Texas; granddaughter, Jessica Besier Brown and Brett with great-grandsons, Elijah Brown and Gideon Brown, both of Houston, Texas; along with numerous nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Evans on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Faithbridge Church, 18000 Stuebner Airline Road, Spring, TX 77379 (281.320.7588).
