Funeral services for Melba Lou Marks age 83 of Livingston, Texas will be held Thursday May 19, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. David Jones officiating and interment to follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Drew Hamilton, Wyndell Hamilton, John Sprott, Boyd Dueboay, Eddie Brown and Sam Burk. Honorary Pallbearers are Greg Hughes, Mark Hughes, Hershel E. Hughes, Jr. and Lloyd Hughes, Jr.

She was born November 16, 1927 in Polk County, Texas the daughter of Hubert A. Hughes, Sr., and Ava Walters Hughes and passed away May 16, 2011 in Livingston. She is preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Wyndell Hamilton, 2nd husband Percy Bergeron, Van Hamilton, son and James Hughes, brother.

She is survived by Lewis Marks, husband of Livingston, Randy & Terri Hamilton, son and daughter in law of Trinity, Texas, Wyndell & LeAnn Hamilton, grandson and wife, Drew & Mary Hamilton, grandson and wife, Ginger & Sam Burk, granddaughter and husband, Hudson Hamilton, great grandson, Andrew Burk, great grandson, H.E. & Eloise Hughes, Jr,, brother and sister in law of San Antonio, Texas, Bobby Hughes, brother of Livingston, Pat & Bob Hasselback, sister and brother in law of Livingston, Hershel & Connie Hughes, brother and sister in law of Texas City, Texas, Lloyd Hughes, Sr., brother of Alvin, Texas, Polly-Wogs, special niece and caregiver. Numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
