Funeral services for Melba Joyce Woodson, 92, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Weston Berry, Daniel Day and Don Stephens officiating. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will take place Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas.

Melba was born July 8, 1932 in Cooper, Texas and passed away October 28, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Stephens and Mary (Edward) Stephens; husband, Billy Woodson; son, Ronald Dale Woodson; daughter, Linda Joyce Badley, and grandsons, Brandon Badley and Jeremy Badley.

She is survived by her sons, Melvin Wayne Woodson and wife Lorraine of Onalaska, Texas and Kerry Don Woodson and wife Pam of Waxahachie, Texas; and 7 surviving siblings; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
