Funeral Services for Meletion Guervara, 87 of Corrigan, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Lonnie Valance of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in Groveton officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers are Justin Poncho, Marcus Abbey, Melton Abbey, Justin Newman, Frank Valderez, Christophor Newman, and Richard Guevara.

He was born April 1, 1924 in Oakhurst, Texas the son of Vincent Guervara and Epifania Borjas and passed away December 19, 2011 in Corrigan, Texas.

Meletion is survived his Wife, Patricia Guervara of Corrigan, Daughters, Mary Ann Abbey and husband, Ted of the Reservation, Evelyn Newman of Livingston, Lynn McCracken of Groveton, Sons, Wayne McCracken of Corrigan, Ronald McCracken of Livingston, Sister, Leona Valderez of Livingston, Grandchildren, Jennifer Poncho and husband Justin, Kristina Abbey, Marcus Abbey, Melton Abbey, Michael Newman, Christophor Newman, Justin Newman, Ryan McCracken, Melissa McCracken, Great Grandchildren, Elijah Abbey Jackson, Kaiyah Abbey, Alex Newman, Hailey Newman, Delevin (Pee Wee) Love. Numerous Other Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews also survive.
