Graveside services for Melinda Kay Hardy, 56, of Cleveland, Texas, will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Moss Hill Cemetery in Moss Hill, Texas with Steve Shirey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Melinda was born November 24, 1960 in Odessa, Texas to parents, Marion McCoy and Joyce (Presnell) McCoy, and passed away September 16, 2017 in Cleveland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shannon Odom; sister, Monica Johnson; and step-father, Harvey Simmons.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Kent Hardy of Cleveland, Texas; daughter, Elizabeth Odom and Pringle of Houston, Texas; son, John White III. and Tabitha of Cleveland, Texas; son, Gary Wooten II. and Valarie of Bay City, Texas; daughter, Stormy Smith of Cleveland, Texas; granddaughter, Desimber Patterson; grandson, Jake Wooten; granddaughter, Allison White; granddaughter, Mary Joyce White Holt; grandson, Nick Wooten; granddaughter, Grace Wooten; grandson, Hunter White; and granddaughter, Karly White; brother, Martin; sisters, Janice, Davia, Kerri and Marrianne; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
