Memorial services for Melissa Ann Murphy, 44, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Murphy was born October 13, 1971 in Houston, Texas to parents, William Grabein and Sherry (Ross) Grabein, and passed away April 5, 2016 in The Woodlands, Texas. She had a great love for her family and was an avid animal lover. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Grabein; and daughter, Nicky Murphy.

She is survived by her husband, Michael P. Murphy of Shepherd, Texas; daughters, Felicia Sanders of Livingston, Texas, Sherry Murphy of Shepherd, Texas, and Marissa Shurbert of Shepherd, Texas; son, Alex Murphy of Shepherd, Texas; grandchildren, Jayden Sanders, Jillian Sanders, Leeland Rachal and Conner Rachal; father, William Grabein of Shepherd, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
