Funeral services for Melvin Lester Kaufman age 91, of Rye, Texas will be held Wednesday August 26, 2009 at 10:00am graveside at Blue Water Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Billy Bracken and Bro. Dan Marsh officiating.
He was born May 28, 1918 in Jackson County, Indiana the son of Ray Kaufman and Elizabeth Wieneke Kaufman and passed away August 22, 2009 at his home in Rye, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife Elsie Lee Kaufman and his son Michael Wayne Sizemore.
He is survived by Ray Alfred Kaufman, brother of Indiana, Ruth Ann Weinhurst, sister of Indiana, Marie Kennedy, niece of Indiana, Marcella Kennedy, great niece of Indiana, Carolyn Brumfield, niece of Houston, Texas, Janis & Al Goldsmith, niece and husband, of Huntsville, Texas, and numerous friends and extended family.
