Memorial Services for Melvin Henry ""Papaw"" Kueck, age 87, of Rye, TX will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, TX. Bro. Harold Isaacs will conduct the service.
Melvin was born on January 24, 1924 in Richmond, TX to parents John W. Kueck and Lillie Duesterhoft Kueck. He passed away on January 8, 2012. Melvin was a Navy Veteran of WWII, and worked as a train engineer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillie Kueck; wife, Louise Kueck; grandson, Justin; son, Roger Kueck; and two brothers, Edwin Kueck and Lonny Kueck. Melvin is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Troy Collins of Rye, TX and Judy and Bobby Ray of Sugarland, TX; two granddaughters, Jill Collins of Rye and Rachelle Murphy of Rosenberg; two grandsons, Brett Murphy of Rosenberg and Jason Moore of Niceville, FL; and two sisters, Evelyn Oberhoff and Leona Gutowsky of Rosenberg; and a brother, Raymond Kueck of Rosenburg, TX. Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
