Memorial services for Melvin Wayne Meadows, 74, of Livingston, Texas will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Lesly Wilkinson officiating.
Mr. Meadows was born August 18, 1942 in Diboll, Texas to parents, Marvin Glenn Meadows and Freddie Rosalie (Powers) Meadows, and passed away October 20, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Nadale Meadows; and grandson, Tommy Flannery.
He is survived by his wife, Letha Meadows of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin Meadows Jr. and Tina of Livingston, Texas, James Meadows and Debra Chandler of Groveton, Texas, and Joe Meadows and Carol Hoffer of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Donna Forrester of Broddaus, Texas; grandchildren, Andrea Grimes, Dustin Meadows, Dalton Meadows, Matthew Downs, Carson Myers, and Chelsea Meadows; great-granddaughter, Aubree Grimes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayford Meadows and Mildred of Trinity, Texas, and Kenneth Meadows and Mary of Spring, Texas; brother, Don Meadows of Spring, Texas; nephews, Glenn Meadows of Trinity, Texas, and Jerry Meadows of Humble, Texas; niece, Cheryl Cox of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
