Memorial services for Mr. Melvyn Bruce Montague, 81, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Pastor Allen Bramlett officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service in the church.

Mr. Montague was born May 28, 1938 in Denver, Colorado to parents, Monty T. Montague and Clarice (Lamb) Montague, and passed away September 24, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Montague of Point Blank, Texas; son, Jeffrey Montague of College Station, Texas; daughter, Cecelia Maner of Garland, Texas; step-son, Brian Robinson and wife, Cecilia of Austin, Texas; step-daughter, Lori Ford of Kemah, Texas; brother, Monty Eugene Montague of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Mary Lynn Plant and husband, Joe of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Noah Ford, Stephen Maner and wife, Lu, Matthew Maner and wife, Kheleia, Sarah Ford, Chris Robinson, and Elizabeth Downs and husband, Caleb; and great-grandchildren, Austin Maner and Madeline Maner; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
