Memorial services for Merrick Lockhart Gartner, 60, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Merrick was born October 5, 1961 in San Antonio, Texas, to parents, Richard R. Gartner and Mary Beth (Lockhart) Gartner, and passed away October 25, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Harris of Livingston; father, Richard R. Gartner of Austin; daughter, Aimee Gartner of Magnolia; grandsons, Dylan Davis and Bradley Pennington; sister, Gretchen Gartner of Dripping Springs; and 6 step-children along with their families as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
