A memorial service for Micakalla "Kay" Hightower, 76, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Sonny Hathaway officiating. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Kay was born February 28, 1949 in Texas City, Texas and passed away December 7, 2025 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Vasquez and Alicia Nicascio Vasquez; sister, Beatrice Vasquez; and brothers, Fred Vasquez, Ivy Vasquez, and Alfonso Vasquez.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Hightower of Livingston, Texas; sons, Sherman Wilson and wife Patricia of East Wakefield, New Hampshire, and William C. Hightower of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Crystal Campise and husband John of League City, Texas; sons, Kevin Hightower of Livingston, Texas and Kenneth Hightower and wife Lauren of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Tomas, Zachary, Jacob, Chloe, Nicholas, C.J., Alex, J.T., Sophia, Emily, and Jackson; great grandchildren, Jack and Juliet; sisters, Natalie Tingle of Spring, Texas and Belinda Jobe of La Marque, Texas; and brother, David Vasquez and wife Phyllis Dallas, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
