Obituary
Michael Eugene Hammons 53 of Shepherd passed away Saturday February 21, 2009 at his home. He was born June 1, 1955 in Houston, Texas, to parents Leonard W. Hammons and Joyce M. Armitage Hammons.
Michael is survived by daughters Venesa Salinas of Shepherd, and Annette Thomas of Colorado, grandchildren Kayla Smith, and Bryana Salinas both of Shepherd and grandson Micah Thomas of Colorado. He is also survived by his sisters Kathy Brode of New Caney, Barbara Monds of Houston, and Dee Dee Hammons of New Caney, brothers James Hammons of Houston, and Paul Hammons of New Caney. His 9 nieces and 3 nephews also survived him.
