Mr. Michael Jon Miller, 73 years old, of Livingston, Texas, passed away peacefully due to natural causes at his home December 31, 2019. He was born on September 20, 1946, in Elkhart, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Ray E. and Betty J. (Clark) Miller, and his brother, Ronald Miller. He is survived by his loving children, daughter, Christina Miller (Duane Gandelot) and son, Jason Miller (Samantha); granddaughter Sage Miller; step-grandsons Michael and Cody Smedley; and sister Pamela Miller-Girton (Mark Steck).

Mike graduated from Yorktown High School, ('65) in Arlington, VA, and had studied business administration at San Francisco State University. He was retired from Computer Sciences Corporation in Dayton, Ohio.

Mike was a proud Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Navy.

During his affiliation with the Boy Scouts, he achieved both the God and Country Award, and The Silver Beaver Award for lifelong service as a Troop Leader.

Mike will be remembered for his love of reading, his deep compassion, his work ethic, and his ability to tell great stories. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In remembrance of Mike, the family suggests contributing to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
