Memorial services for Michael Joseph Oursler Sr., 82, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Don Wilkey officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Oursler was born August 7, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents, William Henry Oursler and Loree (Head) Oursler, and passed away January 14, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Joseph Oursler Jr.; and brother, William Oursler.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Bahm Oursler of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Marcie Anne Goodson of Spring, Texas; daughter-in-law, Kim Oursler-Lagunas and husband, Ed of Sugar Land, Texas; grandson, Eric Breland and wife, Sulma of Pasadena, Texas; granddaughter, Elizabeth Leach and husband, Joshua of Pasadena, Texas; granddaughter, Emily Breland of Pasadena, Texas; grandson, Michael Oursler III of Sugar Land, Texas; granddaughter, Paige Oursler of Sugar Land, Texas; granddaughter, Lauren Lagunas of Sugar Land, Texas; great-grandchildren, Alexander Breland, Aedan Breland, Alice Mae Leach, and Lilly Leach; and brother-in-law, Doyle Bahm of Terlingua, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
