Michael Roy Rogers 62 of Point Blank passed away Monday November 3, 2008 in Lufkin. Funeral services will be Thursday November 6, 2008 at 10:00A in the Cochran Funeral Home - Onalaska Chapel in Onalaska with with Rev. Larry Shine officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Visitation will be Wednesday November 2, 2008 from 5:00PM to 10:00PM also in the Cochran Funeral Home - Onalaska Chapel.

Michael was born January 17, 1946 in Houston, Texas to parents Willie Rogers and Bessie Flowers Rogers. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Willie Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, and Ray Rogers, and sister Betty Scarbrough.

He is survived by his wife Betty Rich of Onalaska, son Michael Rogers and wife Amy of Houston, daughter Sharon Skarda and husband Erik of Maryland, brothers Milford Rogers and wife Eloise of Onalaska, Roland Rogers and wife Carolyn of Houston, daughter Bonnie Williams and husband Jimmy of Dickinson, sons William King of Onalaska, and Jeff King and wife Pam of Porter, and daughter Tracy Bauld and husband Mike of Livingston. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Rogers, Mike Bauld, William King, Jeff King, Chris Portwood, Ben Bauld, Jimmy Williams, and Mike Beasley.
