Mike Yeager age 51 of Onalaska, Texas was promoted to Heaven on Tuesday, March 2, 2010.

Born in Pasadena, Texas on November 2, 1958, he was a life long resident of Onalaska, Texas.

Mike passed away peacefully at his home in Canyon Park.

Mike was a compassionate man who was always ready to help anyone. During hurricane Ike he carried food and water to the elderly in Canyon Park. Mike could not drive because of his mental disability, but that never hindered him from pushing his lawn mower and rake to an elderly citizens property in Canyon Park and clean their yard and refusing any payment although he had limited resources himself. He would ask for rides to deliver ice and other supplies to the elder during the after math of Hurricane Ike, but this was Mikes?ÇÖ compassionate character because he loved people.

He was preceded in death by his parents and adopted father, Sidney McDaniel.

He is survived by his adopted mother Mary Ann McDaniel, brother, John Alexander and wife Traci and nephews, Nicholas and Mike of Laporte, Texas, sisters, Deborah Moffett and husband Sidney of Livingston, Gena Parker of Kentucky and special friends Darlene Kersh of Point Blank and Rex Minter of Livingston.

As per Mike' wishes he will be cremated Friday March 5, 2010 and his ashes scattered on the grave of Sidney McDaniel.

A memorial service to be held at Magnolia Cemetery off Hwy 356 in Mike' honor with the Pastor Dale Snell officiating on Saturday March 13, 2010.
