Funeral services for Michael Dean Battise, age 56, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Livingston, will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Indian Village Presbyterian Church in Livingston, Texas with Elder Debra Battise Kleinman, CLP officiating. Interment will follow in the Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation is Sunday, August 7, 2011, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home.

He was born May 20, 1955 in Livingston, Texas the son of Revis Taylor Battise, Sr. and Juanita Pearl Battise and passed away August 2, 2011 in Houston, Texas.

Michael is survived by Anne Battise, daughter, of Houston, Texas, Timmy Santon, son-in-law, of Houston, Texas, Michael Battise, Jr., son, of Houston, Texas, Dennise Parrot, daughter-in-law, of Houston, Texas, Francesca Battise-Tapia, daughter, of Houston, Texas, Emmanuel Tapia, son-in-law, of Houston, Texas, grandchildren, Jazmine Santon, Destiney Santon, Joseph Battise, Natan Battise, Akya Battise, Mya Battise, Jacob Battise, Emmanuel Tapia and Alexander Tapia, sisters, Susan Rosilez and Opal Battise Espinoza, brother, Revis Taylor Battise, Jr. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
