Funeral services for Mickie Tomathine Placker, 89, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Robert Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Placker was born September 5, 1928 in Mason, Texas to parents, W.T. and Cora (Keith) Gilliam, and passed away October 13, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Collis Coy "Rusty" Placker of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Collis and Daphne Placker of Livingston, Texas, Billy and Teresa Placker of Livingston, Texas, Dennis and Kim Placker of Phoenix, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
