Funeral services for Miguel Angel Ortega, 68, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chris Knox officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Ortega was born July 11, 1954 in Tamaulipas, Mexico and passed away August 14, 2022 in Goodrich, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Angel Ortega and Brijida (Guzman) Ortega; wife, Minerva Ortega; and son, Angel Ortega.

He is survived by his daughter, Juana Ortega of Mexico; son, Luis Ortega and Lucero of Mexico; daughter, Marisa Ortega of Goodrich, Texas; son, Jesus Ortega and Allison of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Leticia Ortega and Robert of Cleveland, Texas; daughter, Victoria Ortega of Lufkin, Texas; daughter, Daniela Ortega and Nathan of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Gladis Ortega of Goodrich, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Cruz of Goodrich, Texas; and daughter-in-law, Candice Ortega of Livingston, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
