Mildred Lucile Koehler, 76, was met by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on March 03, 2024, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Mildred was born in Greenville, Alabama to Alma Lucile Stinson and Charlie Watson Stinson.

Mildred, aka Marty, was a strong and independent woman. In Mildred's life journey, she served in the US Army. After her time in the military, she worked for a newspaper as column writer and photographer. She served as a Public Service Officer/Sherrif and Correctional Officer. She bought a horse and tried the racing scene for a while. Mildred loved animals and her favorite fur baby was a Blue Healer called "Fuzz". She was an active member of New Beginnings Church, in Livingston, Texas. Her hobbies were photography, reading, going to the gun range to shoot her guns, enjoyed traveling and serving the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucile Stinson; and father, Charlie Stinson. She is survived by her husband, James Koehler; sister and spouse, Betty Jean and Donald Hosmer of Greensboro, GA; aunts, Teresa Hartin, of Georgiana, AL and Dianne Hitson of McKenzie, AL; numerous cousins; stepdaughter and spouse, Carla and Mike Walker of Dayton, TX; stepson and spouse, Scott and Linda Koehler of Katy, TX.

Memorial services for Mildred will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the New Beginnings Church in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Eric Essery officiating.
