Milton was born on March 20, 1938 in Liberty, Texas to Ellen Moulder Lee and Ike Lee and died on February 5, 2014 in Livingston surrounded by his loving family. He spent most of his childhood in New Willard with his Uncle E.S. (Bud) Swilley and Aunt Melissa Lee Swilley. This is where he realized his love of raising cattle, which became his lifelong vocation. He was a man of many talents. He and his family bailed hay commercially for many years all throughout Polk County. He maintained 2 community water systems during this time as well. He owned and operated Lee's Farm & Ranch Supply, a community feed store where friends and neighbors not only bought feed, but congregated on a regular basis to visit. He was always fascinated with airplanes and dreamed of flying. This dream was realized in the mid 1980's, when he completed flight school and bought a Cessna 150 in which he mastered the art of flying. He thrilled family, friends and neighbors with frequent impromptu flights. He was also a master mechanic and could repair any piece of equipment he owned. He was well known and respected throughout the area. During his life many a young man was heard to describe Milton Lee as their hero. He was a loving husband and father with a family who adored him.
