Funeral services for Minerva Cruz, 65, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Joel Colon officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., just prior to the service in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Minerva Cruz was born January 13, 1956 in Cardenas, Mexico to parents, Agapito Cruz and Lala Cruz, and passed away October 4, 2021 in Kingwood, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Angel Ortega

Mrs. Cruz is survived by her husband, Miguel Angel Ortega of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Juana Ortega of Los Gatos, California and Marisa Ortega of Livingston, Texas; sons, Luis Ortega of Tamuin, Mexico and Jesus Ortega of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Leticia Ortega of Livingston, Texas, Victoria Ortega of Lufkin, Texas, Daniela Ortega and Gladis Ortega, both of Livingston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Candace Ortega of Livingston, Texas;  along with numerous grandchildren,  brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.
