Funeral services for Minnie Alice Ellis, 83, of Houston, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 in Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Salty Cemetery in Rockdale, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins on Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Ellis was born on July 15, 1934 in Rockdale, Texas to parents, Charlie Steve Burnes and Grace Elizabeth (Eakin) Burnes, and passed away on December 2, 2017 in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Samuel Burnes, Bennie Steve Burnes, and Bill Burnes; and sisters, Rose Kirsh and Elezebeth Darnell.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and James Trull of Livingston, Texas; son, Michael Ellis of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Ashley Schulte and husband, Cullin of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Michael Ellis and wife, Jennifer of Cypress, Texas; grandson, Benny Gonzales of Houston, Texas; great-granddaughter, Laci Schulte of Livingston, Texas; great-grandson, Colby Ellis of Cypress, Texas; and great-granddaughter, Faith Ellis of Cypress, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
