Obituary
Graveside services for Minnie Mae Emanuel, 98, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, September 1, 2014 at Mt. Rose Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Lesly Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.
Mrs. Emanuel was born on November 1, 1915 in Mt. Enterprise, Texas and passed away on August 30, 2014 at Woodland Park Nursing Home in Shepherd, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubbard and Amanda (Pierce) Lollar; husband, Albert Nathan Emanuel, whom she married on December 8, 1932 in Mercedes, Texas; sons, Daniel Wade Emanuel, Elbert Everett Emanuel, Billy Gardner Emanuel, and Nathan Eugene Emanuel; daughter, Darlene Crowson; grandson, Gregory Kyle Emanuel; brothers, Maston Lollar, Daniel Lollar, A.P. Lollar, and Willie Lollar; sisters, Lillie Patterson and Dolly Simpson.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Jean Mauney and Judy Elaine Walters; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Emanuel will be escorted to her final resting place by pallbearers: Brad Smith, Jayden Smith, Jake Smith, Shay Johnston, Mark Emanuel, and Elbert Emanuel Jr.
