Funeral services for Mirta Llanes, 91, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Tarsisius Puling, S.V.C. officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., with a rosary being held at 7:00 p.m. with Robert Ruiz officiating, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Llanes was born February 25, 1929 in Alquizar, Cuba, to parents, Francisco Iturralde and Isabel (Dorca) Iturralde, and passed away March 4, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carlos M. Llanes; brothers Francisco Iturrande and Jose Iturralde.

She is survived by her son, Mauricio Llanes of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Laura Llanes of Laredo, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Juana and Brad Barnett of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Llanes of San Antonio, Texas; Carlox Alex of Lubbock, Texas, Dennis Golden Jr. of Carthage, Texas, Lauren Golden of Carthage, Texas, and Lindsey Golden of Carthage, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Merilda and Arturo Silva of Miami, Florida; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
