A memorial service for M.L. Oliver will be held Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., in the Hickory Grove Church, located at 2878 E. FM-1988, in Goodrich, Texas with Rev. Wayne Landrum officiating.

M.L. was born September 28, 1933 in Kountze, Texas, to Mathew Larkin Oliver and Lillian Willis (Duke) Oliver and passed away June 22, 2020 in Livingston, Texas.

He was a proud member of the United States Navy and the Lion's Club of South Houston, Texas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing every chance he could and spending time with his family, his children, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren all of whom lovingly referred to him as son, brother, uncle, husband, daddy and paw paw.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Leoda Hanson; brother, Johnny Oliver; and grandson, Seth Leon Blaine Broesche.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie Oliver; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Danny Woods; son, Michael Oliver; daughter, Roxane Oliver; son and daughter-in-law, David and Julie Oliver; grandchildren, Shonda and Jim Ackman, Ashli Trevillian, Sutton Eddings, and Jordan Coffey; great granddaughter, Alyssa Ackman; 2 additional great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Mathews and Adlene West; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
